Our History
Émile Garand founded the company in 1958 with his son Michel, starting with the sale of tractors and milking machines, then quickly moving into the installation and repair of water systems.
Over the decades, the company evolved into water treatment, pump distribution, and irrigation. In the 1990s, we developed expertise in the irrigation of cranberry fields and golf courses, with projects completed from Quebec to the Maritimes.
In 2009, the opening of a second location in Victoriaville made room for a showroom and a specialized workshop. Today, Pompes Garand is a benchmark in Centre-du-Québec for pump systems and water treatment.
